Griff’s August Flyover

The final two days of Welcome Week will supply more decade themed activities. These activities are designed to “help alleviate any of the stress and nervousness associated with the first week of classes. They are a great way to make new friends and relax after class,” Amanda Willard, student director of orientation.

Thursday’s dinner is 50’s themed during regular dinner hours in Lowe Dining Hall.  From 9- 12 p.m., is the Annual Foam Dance.  “The Annual Foam Dance because it is always a SHU favorite,” said Willard.  Friday features dinner on the lawn and an opportunity  “Dunk Your OA.”

The Central Blood Bank is hosting a blood drive on September 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the McKenna Center Lobby. Register with Jan Beckage or online.

“Time to roll up your sleeves and save some lives, “ said Beckage.
