According to E! online’s Marcus Errico, Chicago authorities recovered a body of a seven-year-old boy that fit the description of Jennifer Hudson’s missing nephew, Julian King.
On October 27 the investigation ended when the Cook County medical examiner ruled the death of Hudson’s nephew to be a homicide.

According to E! online’s Marcus Errico, Chicago authorities recovered a body of a seven-year-old boy that fit the description of Jennifer Hudson’s missing nephew, Julian King.
On October 27 the investigation ended when the Cook County medical examiner ruled the death of Hudson’s nephew to be a homicide.
Officials found the child’s remains in an abandoned SUV on a street in Chicago. The body has been identified as Julian King after a great deal of investigation.
E! online’s Gina Serpe wrote, that King “died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head.” However, they have not disclosed information on how long the boy had been dead.
E! online’s Errico said that Julian went missing following his stay at Hudson’s mother and brother’s house, who were both shot dead in their home on Friday.
Errico reported that following this event the police issued an Amber Alert and FBI kidnapping experts were called in to help search for a white 1994 Chevy Suburban, “the same vehicle in which the body was discovered, about 14 miles from the murder site.”
Over the weekend, Hudson and her sister, Julia both pleaded for a safe return for Julian. Errico explained, the Oscar-winning “Dreamgirls” star also offered a $100,000 reward and asked fans “to pray for our family.”
In times of tragedy and heart ache; it is time for each of us to count our blessings. Hudson and her family are suffering through this painful time in front of the media, but several of our own peers are going through difficult family times.
As friends and fellow classmates, we may not be able to help those in need by giving them advice, but we may become a shoulder to lean on through the difficult times. Be a helping hand in someone’s life by being an ear when they are trudging through the muck and hope that they may overcome their struggles.
We all have tragedy and problems in our lives. They may not be as drastic as Hudson’s situation, but to those who are going through it, the struggle and pain is still in existence.
Be there for those you care about and help them through their pain and continue to pray for all of those who suffer, including Hudson and her family.
