Halloween happenings on campus

Looking for some spooky fun to kick off Halloween? Shocktober Fest is the annual

celebration of Halloween at Seton Hill University (SHU). On Oct. 23 from 8:00-11:00
p.m. in Lowe Dining hall, Science Alliance will be having a pumpkin carving event.
The cost is $3 per pumpkin and there will be snacks and drinks free of charge. The
proceeds will benefit the Biology and Chemistry Clubs.

SAC will be sponsoring the event SCARED! on Oct. 25. It will be from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. During that time, two ghost hunters will share their stories and experiences. Then they will take the students along with them to hunt for ghosts!

On Oct. 26, there will be a Hunger Games themed haunted house on the Mckenna top porch, lawn and lobby from 7:00-10:00 p.m. The cost to walk through is $3 and it is sponsored by the Make a Wish Club. Also that night from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. there will be a blacklight bash in Cecilian Hall.

On Monday Oct. 29, the student theater activities council will be

hosting CaBOOret in William Granger Ryan Theater from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. There
will be dancing, singing and a contest for the best costume! The Zumba classes on
Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 will be Halloween themed and wearing a costume is
encouraged, as long as it is something you can still easily and safely exercise in.
