The Made With Love: SITA Valentine’s Sale will be Wednesday, Feb. 11. The SITA, Students in the Arts, will be holding the event in the second-floor Maura Solarium on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“I am looking forward to the sales that SHU has for Valentine’s Day,” Raiyna Lanclos, a freshman at Seton Hill University, said. “That makes it easier for everyone to come together as a community and better show appreciation for other students and teachers.”
Students from SITA will be selling cards, jewelry, ceramics, and other items which were handmade and ready to be taken home.
“I think Valentine’s Day is a lovely way to show someone you love that they mean a lot to you and that it makes your day every day that they are present in your life,” Lanclos said. Valentine ’s Day will be here faster than a blink of an eye, what better way to celebrate than a handmade gift! “Whether that person is just a friend, a partner, or even a parent, Valentine’s Day is a day of appreciation.” Lanclos said.
“We will have a variety of handmade items, including but not limited to: cards, jewelry, ceramics, knit goods, etc.” Haley Burns said. “ SITA will also be participating in the Relay for Life at the end of February and will be making t-shirts to raise money for that, which we hope to have available for purchase at our sale as well.”
