This semester is flying by and I hope you all are enjoying it. We still have some great events and activities happening for Student Government and for clubs. First, I would like to remind all clubs and organizations that they have until Friday, November 6th to turn in their Spring Club Event Proposal Form to have an opportunity to host a club event this coming spring. Once all are received, SAC will be reviewing them and choosing the three most well rounded proposals. Six have already been submitted! Keep a look out for the announcement of which clubs will be hosting events in the spring.

Hello All,
This semester is flying by and I hope you all are enjoying it.
I also want to tell everyone about our annual SHGA Midnight Bingo happening Friday November 6th from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Lowe Dining Hall. This fundraiser is the largest event for SHGA each semester, and all funds raised this time around will be benefiting the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. The first bingo card is free, so come out and win some great prizes. Our “big” prize is an 8 GB iPod touch. We also have dozens of other great prizes from our traditional college pack of ramen and red cups, to a game pack of chips and salsa, to our first ever anti-swine flu set of large amounts of Lysol and hand-sanitizer! Come win food, gift cards and movies! Don’t forget to bring some cash for food and extra bingo cards!
Also going on this weekend is the third club event of the semester hosted by the Chemistry club. Join us on McKenna Lawn on Saturday, November 7 from 7 p.m. to midnight for a warm fire, fun games and even more prizes!
I would like to thank all the individuals who participated in the Wellness Center sponsored “Week without Violence” and especially to all that joined SHGA for the 2nd annual Peace Release on Sullivan Lawn. It was great seeing such support and energy!
As always, questions, comments and concerns are welcome. Send us an email at shga@setonhill.edu, drop a letter in our suggestion box outside Lowe 113 or attend one of our bi-weekly Senate Meetings in A308.
Have a great weekend!
Katie
