“Stall Stories” are well-known here at Seton Hill University. Also dubbed “The Toilet Paper,” the information sheets are posted inside each stall in the bathrooms, providing students with insights into different events happening on campus.
“The Toilet Paper” was originally run by the Director of Student Leadership & Involvement, Evan Ditty. However, it is currently run by senior communication major Carsyn Rivardo.
Ditty stated, “It has been a true blessing to work with Carsyn over the past three years and watch her grow her skills and abilities in her role.”
“Carsyn has been instrumental since almost day one of the Stall Stories on campus, and has truly made them her own, inserting humor, depth, and intrigue, and driving higher attendance at campus events and programs,” Ditty said.

“Evan had started the stall stories, then I took them over and they became my pride and joy,” Rivardo stated.
Rivardo said, “I first started writing the ‘Stall Stories’ in my second semester of my freshman year. My advisor, Dr.(Jen) Jones, let me know of an open position with Evan Ditty, helping with ‘Stall Stories’ and Instagram content.”
Rivardo said she not only completes the stall stories but also takes part in curating social media content for the organization. Rivardo also said that along with this position, she currently sits on the board of the University’s Student Government Association (SGA).
“The ‘Stall Stories’ are honestly my babies, as silly as it is to say, I feel like I have grown with them. The experience that I have gained from making these will surely help me in my future, and I will always use it in any of my job applications.” Rivardo said.
“I have heard on multiple occasions from many different people that these stories really help people to understand what is going on around campus, and it really makes me feel good that my work is so rewarding,” Rivardo commented.
Rivardo plans to graduate in the spring and pass her torch to junior communications major, Sarah Paci.
Paci said, “Carsyn is always a fun person to work with. She usually comes with very positive energy when working on a project and is always able to make the group laugh.”
Paci described that Rivardo would include little details for holidays and events to add a personal touch to the flyers.
Paci stated that she has known Rivardo since freshman year, and “It’s been so fun getting to do things like this together. I’m excited to take over the position once Carsyn graduates, but I’ll be sad to see her go.”
Rivardo said, “I am so excited to leave something so appreciated behind and cannot wait to see how it grows after I am gone.”
As Carsyn Rivardo prepares to graduate, Sarah Paci is getting ready to continue the legacy of the “Stall Stories.” “Seton Hill’s #1 Toilet Paper.”
